Holiday Inn Express Corvallis-On the River, an IHG Hotel

Front desk personnel very friendly and helpful. Facilities were uniquely decorated, and inspired by OSU and Corvallis. Very nice, short stay. My husband enjoyed the freshly baked cookies. Breakfast was decent.

Loved that it was close to everything we needed. From the charming downtown area, to OSU campus and stores. The river view was AMAZING!

Breakfast was mostly the standard hotel fare -- with the wonderful inclusion of gluten free muffins! It was good, and the breakfast room (overlooking the Willamette River) was clean, comfortable, and scenic. The staff member in charge of breakfast was very personable and attentive.

Location was nice, on the river. We had a river view room, so that is better than if it was facing the road. The breakfast was good, and did the job for getting started with our day. Not too far from OSU, so it was a fairly quick and easy drive over to campus.

I have 2 service dogs (1 Chihuahua Papillion and 1 Akita) and they were accommodating and friendly. Sometimes people are apprehensive of our large dog which i understand but it's undeserved. That wasn't the case. Everyone we came in contact with were friendly and polite. It makes me happy. As for the facilities themselves its a hotel. They can only do so much as far as keeping everything clean. People are disgusting creatures. So what if the wallpaper has some spots where it wasn't glued properly? Grout comes out over time, especially when it's constantly getting wet. When people spill stuff everywhere of course there will be a stain. Think of how many people come thru the doors in a year. Maybe it's because ive stayed in some really ghetto places, but this place was great. Especially for the price. It's way better than any motel 6 I've ever been in.
